Horticultural Expos foster cooperation and the sharing of knowledge and solutions between countries, horticultural producers and agricultural industries by addressing the paramount issues of healthy lifestyles, green economies, sustainable living, education and innovation. Horticultural Expos are organised by a host country, and last up to 6 months. Participants include Countries and International Organisations (Official Participants) as well as Cities, Regions, Companies, Civil Society and NGOs (Non-Official participants).

Guinea-Bissau at ExpoQatar
After 2020 in Dubai, Guinea-Bissau is back at this 2023 edition in Qatar. Its pavilion skips from the protected nature preserve of its tropical Bijagos Islands, where sacred saltwater hippos and grey parrots thrive, to the dusty grandeur of Portuguese colonial-era buildings in friendly capital Bissau. It also showcases the best gems of economic actors such as startups and organizations. This provides visitors with an outlook of the opportunities to invest in Guinea Bissau while exploring the country's marvel.
